Tour de Thrillist Stop #5: NYC

Click over to Facebook to witness the final lap of Tour de Thrillist — our coast-to-coast asphalt adventure that took on L.A., Vegas, Austin, Philly — and now — the Big Apple. After skidding through the skate park and consuming mass quantities of everything in Philly, Matt and Jordan emerged from their 2012 Toyota Camry and hit the Gotham ground (well, a treadmill suspended ten feet above the ground) running at Fuerza Bruta’s kinetic frenzy. And because bustin’ walls works up an appetite, they took on Scott’s Pizza Tour, where they studied up on the Village’s oldest slice-slingers, before putting their knowledge to the test at a dough-spinning Two Boots showdown.

First stop - East Side Music - where the guys wrote and recorded odes to the road, competing to see who was the supreme songbird of the South. From there, they joined food truck forces with East Side King and Yumé Burger in a short-order showdown for a crowd of hungry Texans.

Satisfying the man-iversal need for heavy machinery, Matt and Jordan traded in their 2012 Toyota Camry for a pair of fighter jets from Sky Combat Ace and duked it out in the most stratospheric game of laser tag known to man. From there, they hustled over to destroy-it-yourself junkyard, Dig This, where they tried to destroy each other, bulldozer-style.
